Identity-Affirming Therapy
Therapy That Sees You: Identity-Affirming Support
Come as you are—mask off, truth on.
You don’t have to hide your identity here.
Take your mask off. Your true self is welcome with curiosity, care, and compassion.
You’ve spent enough of your life explaining yourself, translating your experiences, or shrinking to fit into systems that weren’t built for you. You deserve a space where you can just be. I offer therapy that fully affirms your neurodivergence, your culture, your queerness, your kink and poly identities, without shame, assumptions, or the need to conform.
In my therapeutic space, misogyny, ableism, sexism, rigid social norms, racism, transphobia, and homophobia are left at the door.
What Identity-Affirming Therapy Means in My Practice:
It means we co-create space for you to feel safe, heard, and unmasked. We explore sensory needs, deconstruct internalized oppression, affirm nontraditional relationships, and gently work with trauma through somatic therapy, IFS, EMDR, and the calming resonance of sound bowls. This isn’t a clinical checklist—it’s a healing container built around you.
Who This is For
Neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, sensory-sensitive) clients seeking validation and regulation tools
Queer and trans folks looking for gender-expansive and body-honoring therapy
BIPOC clients navigating the fatigue of code-switching, cultural trauma, and invisibility
Kink, poly, and sex-positive individuals seeking supportive exploration of power, consent, and attachment
My Approach:
This is a space where we actively unlearn harmful conditioning and make room for your whole, unedited self to be witnessed and supported.
I also recognize that therapy does not exist in a vacuum. It's inherently political. Our work will not ignore the systems that impact your daily life, including colonization, white supremacy, capitalism, and generational oppression. These factors are not separate from your healing; they are part of the context we hold with care.
For those navigating tensions between Eastern and Western values, I bring cultural humility and understanding to explore how generational beliefs, collectivist traditions, or spiritual frameworks intersect with Western individualism and therapeutic norms. We honor both without forcing you to choose.
With a trauma-informed, liberation-focused lens, I offer integrated sessions using Somatic Experiencing, IFS, EMDR, and sound healing that honors your nervous system’s unique rhythm. We work with the body to build safety, process trauma, and cultivate empowerment—without ever asking you to hide or shrink who you are.
Why Identity-Affirming Care Matters
You’ve likely been in spaces that asked you to censor or fragment yourself in order to receive care. This is not that space.
Here, your authenticity is part of your healing, not something to “fix.”
