Somatic Soundwork

Nervous System Regulation Through Sound, Breath, and Energy Work

Somatic Soundwork in Atlanta

Sometimes words aren't enough — or they're too much.

Sound, breath, and vibration offer another language for healing. In a world that demands constant thinking and doing, somatic soundwork invites you back into being — into the body, into stillness, into the parts of you that don't need to explain themselves to begin to heal.

Whether you're recovering from trauma, navigating sensory overload, or simply longing for rest, somatic soundwork offers a powerful way to regulate your nervous system and reconnect with your body without needing to talk it out.

What is Somatic Soundwork?

omatic soundwork combines the therapeutic use of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, and tuning forks with intentional breathwork, vocal tone, and somatic body awareness. Together, these tools support emotional release, vagus nerve activation, and deep nervous system regulation.

The vibrations from singing bowl therapy and sound healing work directly with the body — not around it. They help move you out of survival mode and into a parasympathetic rest-and-restore state where true healing often begins.

How Somatic Soundwork Supports Trauma Healing

Sound bypasses the thinking mind and communicates directly with the body. In sessions where you may be using Somatic Experiencing, IFS or EMDR, ssoundwork helps integrate what you've already processed. It can soothe overwhelmed parts, calm emotional waves, or provide safe anchoring after difficult work.

For many clients, somatic soundwork becomes a way to safely experience pleasure, calm, and connection — often for the first time in a long time.
